The Japanese Sengoku Period: 1467-1573 Essay The Sengoku time frame (1467-1573) began with and proceeded after the Onin War. It was now that three heads seemed to reunify the nation. Oda Nobunaga, conceived in 1534, began of as the child of a minor warlord (daimyo) called Oda Nobuhide. After the demise of his dad Oda Nobunga was legitimately intended to be the leader of the Oda group yet his uncle, Oda Nobutomo, asserted the situation for himself.
